I am a 24 yr old f & have been suffering from strange neurological symptoms for 9 yrs, now I am having heart related, pulmonary syptoms 2. Here's a brief med. history:zoloft, ativan,(4 panic & anxiety) neurontin (ocd), prevacid (gerd, hiatal hernia),& newest is norvasc 4 hypertension, & bi-pap 4 light sleep apnea. I started having dizziness & strange near faint episodes when I was 15 they would come on with no warning & no triggers it was strange felt as if my head was falling backwards (kind of like if a bus next to u moved and it made u feel like u moved but scary) it was accompanied w/vision disturbances (darkend periph,I was at 1 time diagnosed w/ atypical migraines {pupils would dialate dif.sizes, eye exams were normal so were cat scans})I couldnt use my contacts or glasses my eyes wouldn't seem to focus right.  These near fainting episodes were terrifying & I always had a huge adrenaline rush with them...I became agoraphobic & was diagnosed w/acute anxiety disorder. was put on meds 4 migraines (made worse) then on antianxiety drugs till the brew I listed above seemed 2 work the best (not totally but where I could live a little outside my house.) I was not convinced that cat scans were accurate but was told I had OCD & to not worry I was healthy except being overweight. I had EEG no signs of absence seizures no picking @ clothes etc.  I had an EKG, 24hr holter & was normal said heart & chest discomfort was anxiety. Recently had tilt table & I fainted said urocardiogenic syncope Can this cause all of these symptoms it happens when lie down drive worse @ period & bms help

I cannot give you a clinical diagnosis over the internet. Its not clear to me that your symptoms are primarily of a neurological nature - when blood pressure to the brain falls one can get a fainting feeling and closing in of the vision. This can be caused by a variety of conditions most of which you do not seem to have per your investigations.

The cause can be elusive to diagnose but can be related to venous insufficiency in the legs (especially if overweight) causing venous pooling and being more prone to fainting. Or an abnormal or exagerrated/delayed autonomic nerve response to blood pressure changes. This can be treated by graded compression stockings, betablockers (to prevent a fast heart rate, that can pump blood inefficiently), or florinef (a medication to increase fluid in the blood vessels.

Further testing and reccomendations on these treatment options can be obtained from the Cleveland Clinic Syncope Clinic if you are in the area. Of course, losing weight if you are overweight is of paramount importance too.

Good luck

To: Doctor please
I'm sorry for the confusing type on the posting, but I only had so many characters to use & a lot of things to try to cram in that limited space.  I want to say thank you for your time and concern!  I forgot to mention that before any of these syptoms started I had a snowmobile accident no major injury maybe whiplash.  After that wreck, a trip to wyoming, 3 car wrecks just whiplash mild concussion my symptoms worsened through the yrs.  Sometimes it feels like I am oversensative to stimuli (like if a normal person would see blood & get faint) I do that with any anxious thought.  Plus I get daily headaches typically dull, & continuous temple pressure & neck pain.  What could this be? Pinched nerve or all from neurocardiologic syncope, or something else?  Thank you!
