Even I posted similar question on the forum - Pls search usinh 'visual snow' .. u will find various answers !!!
Depression is curable - Most of the ppl and docs do not know wat exactly is visual snow. Some says they are floaters and patient shd ignore it since they are benign .. other suggests if problem increases as in - additional symptoms comes up ... then need to check opthalmologist or nerologist,
Do search google and this forum for visual snow.

Hi,

There is no definite neurophysiologic explanation for visual snow but its presence may mask an underlying neurologic, psychiatric, infectious and autoimmune disease which warrants further work-up.
Illicit drug use may also cause visual snow.

Just reassure your son and continue to follow up with your physicians until underlying causes be ruled out.

Keep us posted for anything.

I have a headache which is piercing, but isn't as painful as a migraine. I have also had VS for a year, and wos wondering if this is what caused it.
