How many seizures in a row are safe?

by djlmoe, Sep 05, 2007 02:48AM
Our almost 4 yo had about 30 small seizures in 2 hours.  I was going to take him into the hospital when they stopped.  He isn't sleeping well, has a runny nose but no fever.  His past seizures have all been ruled febrile or immunization related although he's only had one with a fever.  He also has Chiari 1 malformation and autism.  Would you all call his ped or neurosurgeon?  He has no neurologist yet.
