First trimester screening - RESULTS

Hello All.
I just got some fantastic news and I had to share it. Based on "advanced" maternal age my chance of having a baby with down syndrome is 1 in 287. Today I got the results of my first trimester screening and they said based on the results my new risk factor for DS is 1 in 5100 and for trisomy 18 it is 1 in 10000!!
Wow, what a relief. I was so scard of getting negative results, at first I had decided not to even do the test. Two days later I changed my mind and called the doc to schedule me in. Now I'm so glad I did. And Exhale :) !!!! YAYAY
