Numbness and tingling while using weights

by Petuniaba, Sep 07, 2007 07:30AM
I am using two pound ankle and wrist weights. I only exercise for a very short period each day because I have myopathy. The last few days I get numbness and tingling on the right side of my face and in my right temple when I am doing the weights. I had a stroke in 2005 on the right side of my brain so this has me worried. I am also seeing a neurosurgeon on Monday for a mild spinal cord compression.  Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks for your help.  B.
