White marks on neck after running really hard.

by fansari, Sep 08, 2007 02:48PM
Ok, so I just have a quick question. After running really hard today, I  finished and headed home. My brother noticed this first. There were white streaks on my neck. They looked like a sweat drop line, but it was a whole white line. The white marks were on my right and left neck. I just had a question about if it is something in my diet, because I did get a severe cramp during the run. I heard it had something to do with salt, but I'm not really sure. Thanks a lot!

I am not really sure about your streaks.
Depending what you ate or did not eat before the run may have played a part in the cramp you got. Before any heavy exercise, a light meal can be eaten. It is not recommended to exercise on an empty stomach either.
Thank you for asking a question on the forum.
