Two and a half years ago, I flew with a cold and developed a major infection in all of my sinuses. Since that day I have had DAILY severe unilateral maxillary pain, pain directly behind nose and deep in the back of my head all seeming to originate from the back of my nose (sphenopalatine ganglion area. I have been through two endoscopic surgeries that didn't correct my problem. I've been to several more ENTs and a Neuro that diagnosed me with migrains because I said my pain is worse on my period.If he was a woman he would understand that all pain is hieghtened during your period. Nevertheless I have wholeheartedly given a good long chance to MANY migraine meds to no avail.Also Neurontin and gabapentin. I TRULY believe that I suffered trauma to my sphenopalatine or trigeminal nerve am now just living on 4-6 vicodin per day and desperately need a doctor to believe in me and test those nerves .Could you please tell me how to find a doctor that does these tests/blocks/ablation for this problem in my area that accept BLUE CROSS??
