months after microdisectomy T-9 T10

by Fizzy6, Sep 13, 2007 02:13AM
Many thanks for your time.

I had 9 months ago a Microdisectomy T-9 T-10 due to cord compression. Disc was

pushing into my spinal canal.I had a injury at work.

Most back operation aren't in the thoracic area, mine was, I have recovered , I am 42yrs old. I was told I can

snow ski again, have gone back to Jazzercise, low im/aerobics, but find this makes my scar on

my back hurt. I walk daily, I only started  back to Jazzercise 2 months again, should this kind of exercise

be good for my back, I don't jump as I said do low impact movement, but still get pain in the

area that was operated on. I have had a post op MRI don't have any spinal cord compression,

just scar tissue. Any advice or experience would be great. Thanks Fizzy
