my father

my father was walking correctly before being admitted to a mental ward .the stroke only affected memory ,which this happened oct,29,2006. this just started in last 2 weeks .we took him out of this new day facility 3days after he couldnt use left leg. he says he is drunk and leans to left. he has bee on lots different medicines. he has vascular dimmenia ,they say . why can we not be able to get him to walk straigt again when this wasnt a problem to begin with? this strange to us and they say he has not had another stroke.

If they only did a cat scan (CT) of his brain to determine whether he did or did not have a stroke - they may have missed it. He needs an MRI of the brain. And someone should look at the arteries in his brain to see why he may be having several strokes.
