minor neck injury, drugs ineffective, gradually aggravating since 4 months

Whatever is happening to me, I'm asking whether it can be at least interrupted instead of just letting it get worse. Everything I have pursued so far - drugs, collar, etc. - has done nothing to stop the chain reactions.
Each and every day there's new pain.

Here's my story:
I'm almost 21, male, and - in June - got a strong pain in the nape when I did a yoga posture (Plough) bad. I quit the posture, but forgot to immediately apply ice or warm water. I went on doing normal daily activities for a few days until the pain got suspiciously strong and spread along the entire back. GP said there was nothing to worry about and that it was probably just muscle tightness.

In July the pain got worse - especially accompanied by paresthesias along upper limbs and fingers, plus other nerve pain around the cervical area - so I went to the emergency dept, where they first put me a cervical collar and prescribed me with Ketoprofen (Orudis, Oruvail, Ketoflam) and Tizanidine (Zanaflex, Sirdalud) to take for a week.
That had a pain-killing effect but didn't heal the source of all stiffness.

A week later I had to return to emergency dept, and this time I was told to take intramuscular injections of a Betamethasone (a corticosteroid) and a Diclofenac (Voltaren) + Thiocolchicoside (Muscoril) each day for 9 days.
I took the Betamethasone only on the first day, because the next day the GP told me that it might be too much for me, and instead told me to take Voltaren+Muscoril twice a day.
At the end of each day I also had to take Lansoprazole (proton pump inhibitor) to reduce side effects of the injections, especially on the stomach.
All this had a relaxing effect on me. Especially the Betamethasone - even if I took it only once - felt really "cool, icy, burning, tingling" in the whole body for the whole day; it felt almost comfortable... but I please read on.

On July 20th I had an MRI of my spine, the result of which was that the cervical region was visibly stiff. Absolutely nothing else. No problems with the discs, with the cord or with the nerve roots, according to most specialists I visited.
I was relieved for a while, but in time the effects of the muscle relaxant injections wore out.
In the beginning of August, following a routine check up, the orthopedic doctor prescribed me Aceclofenac (Airtal) to take twice a day for 15 days.
Didn't help much. Arm paresthesias and other pains persisted and were quite strong when at peak level, generally getting worse and bilateral (while it was previously only left).

I went to an osteopath while I was on a holiday abroad.
After only two sessions with the osteopath I was really much, much, much better and rarely felt the stiffness anymore, though the nerve pain and paresthesia would slightly return when I was stressed or didn't sleep much.
(According to the osteopath, the muscles were tight and when one muscle is tight the others get tight as well, which causes the nerves to get squeezed and thus all the pins and needles feelings.)

I felt healed until - 1/2 weeks later - I caught a few colds/flu which somehow reactivated all the pain - this time even spanning more areas of the body.

The cold/flu subsided but the pain not. My neck muscles don't actually feel stiff anymore and my range is pretty wide (I can bend head so that ears touch resting shoulders).

But currently, in addition to the paresthesia, pins/needles in neck and arms, I feel similar but less constant pain and also numbness throughout the entire body, around the chest, the back, the knees and even the feet. The toes, the eyes, certain small spots in the face, the tip of the ears, joints.
I could describe that as "icy water rushing in variable sizes through random spots of the body". Maybe it's a different form of paresthesia?
(And it somehow also reminds me of that "icy" feeling the day I got that one Betamethasone intramuscular injection.)

I would really appreciate any advice; thank you in advance.
