popped penis vein

by pop1, Sep 17, 2007 08:04AM
Hi-

I ruptured a vein during sex.  My girlfriend was on top, she laid back very abruptly, and ended up "hyper-extending" my penis.  I felt a bit of a pop, although it was not painful--I know it's not broken, thankfully.  However, now I have two prominent veins: a large one  on the top side of my shaft, and a somewhat thinner one on the bottom, both extending from the base to mid shaft.  While I am troubled by the new aestetic, what really bothers me is that these veins, since they begin at the base, cause my penis when flaccid to protrude out at an angle.  It's utterly embarassing to say the least.  I was wondering if it would be possible to remove or close off these veins? For obvious reasons, I've been reluctant to inquire via telephone.  What kind of doctor(s) should I consult about this issue?  Any advice would be reallly appreciated. Thanks.
