I have mycobacteriun Abcessus the doctors are considering IV Tygacil (Tigecycline) long term. Have taken all oral antibiotics on the market.
Has anyone been on Tygacil. If so what are the complications you have experienced.

There have been several people on Tygacil® (tigecycline) for Mycobacterium abscessus.  The biggest problems have had to do with nausea and loss of appetite.  Additionally, it must be administered via a PICC line, so there are issues regarding the infusions, line sterility, etc.
