Leg Symptoms - ALS?

by Noonan1234, Sep 17, 2007 03:08PM
I am a thirty year old male - over the past two weeks I have had occassional twitching in my left leg. I have occassionally had it in the hamstring and calf, but my quad seems most affected. The twitches are not continuous, however, my left leg never feels right. My leg feels weak, although when working out at the gym it appears to be equally as strong as my right leg. The twitching is usually most pronounced in the afternoon - although I occassionally get it in the morning and in bed. I have not had any pain in the leg - but I do get sort of a warm tingling sensation from time to time. I have not had any problems with my foot.

This afternoon within a matter of minutes my leg felt extremely week, although I could walk on my toes and heels...

I should also note that I have been under a great deal of stress over the past couple of months - however, I normally handle stress well.

Are these symptoms consistent with ALS?
