Sounds like a breakthrough if you were clear at 24 weeks.  I don't understand what you mean by a "22 hgb"  That doesn't make sense.  A 22 HGB would be really high! I was high pre tx at a 16,  so I don'''t think you have your #'s right.  Anyway with a breakthrough at 9 mos,  that it rare but possible. It would help if you give us your Geno type, and stage pre-tx.  Good luck with all this, but it sounds like if you want to re-treat, you will do so as a relapser.  This means you may have a lesser chance of SVR and may need to find a cutting edge dr. to guide you through this next tx.

Let us know stats. Not sure what the eye stuff was either...could be important in your decision to do so.  How much damage does your liver have?

Wow,  platelets at 22????  that sounds really low, so does Hgb at 7. Your ast and alt don't sound bad, but this is on tx? Sounds right. At stage 4/6, sounds like you have no choice but to retreat...but with your platelets and hgb so low, will your dr. let you?  Where do you live?  Do you have a good hepatologist?  You aren't silly at all.  I came here knowing absolutely nothing. Stick around, you will learn alot.  SVR means that yu have cleared the virus- sustained viral release.  I am 55 and when I came here over a year ago it took awhile to learn.  Please come back with all your questions, there are lots of people here that know lots about this virus.

What is your Viral load now? Are you starting round two of treatment?  What kind of doc do you have? Are you still treating after the detectable VL you had after your 24 UND?  Gosh,  I hope you you are doing well.  Please let us know what is going on with your tx.  Are you having trouble with seeing now?
