Small Calcified Menengioma

For the last few years i have had headaches daily, blurry vision, and sometimes a ringing in my left ear. I have had 2 mri's one in July 2005 and one in July 2007 in 2007 my neurolgist told me that there is a small calcified menegioma located in the anterior aspect of the falx. She totaly dismissed it and insists that it has nothing to do with the problems that I've been having. Then they figured out that it was there in 2005 and that it hasn't changed in size. I will be going to get another opinion in the next few months.

How are you?
A small calcified meningioma which has not changed in size will most likely be asymptomatic. However meningiomas can cause symptoms like seizures, focal weakness and sensory loss.
Open treatment is recommended for large and symptomatic meningiomas.
