Hi,

I am a nusing student and i have recently recieved a assignment question i am havng difficulty answering as we have to provide the correct answer with rationales and references to support. and to say why we chose that answer and why the others wernt sufficient.

it would be great if you could provide me with some expertise on the topic.

here is the qn.

case study 1: impaired communication related to otits media

6. how should ian be tauhgt to perform the valsalva maneovre?

a) compress both nostrils and ask him to blow out of his cheeks and mouth.
b) place his hands over his ears and ask him to sowllow hard
c) hold a tissue over his mouth and nose and ask him to blow hard
d) hold his breath and ask to swollow at the same time
