PLEASE HELP

I went to my probation officer about a drug screen I took before I cleaned up. It was positive for methadone and now I'm due in court for violation of probation (next week). I am clean for 24 days now and I gave him a clean drug screen and a copy of a precription from a family member, telling him it was an accident that I took it. Anybody got any ideas/experience on if my probation will get revoked b/c of this mess-up? Any advice? Anything? Please help. I am TERRIFIED.

I have 10 yrs of probation experience it is up to your probation officer to violate you and nobody else.........
did you talk to him or her about it many times they will give you a break this one said no I'm going to violate you?

just curious-how was it by accident that you took it?

i think thats what he told the dude...that it was an accident. Not sure if he'll go for that one though.

he's a "climber" has a reputation for being a suck up in court....he petitioned to send me to court...signed it today...said he would talk to the "head" PO in light of the clear screen and prrof of family member's script....says to call him tomorrow after lunch (head PO not there today)...i don;t think I believe him...he has lied to me before...no breaks w/ this one I don;t think...also violated almost 2 years ago for pot, 30 days in jail for weekends....said he would not recommend jail time and when in front of judge said would accept nothing less tahn 30 days even though she suggested leniency...did the 30...had clean screens ever since (about 5-6 clean)....

Plesae understand that I mean no offense, but how do you take an accidental medhabone screen...I would be terrified too, but that won't help...Its best to get the exact details....Why did you take the test, and once why, how did you test positive for Methacone?    I understand that it was an accident, so please describe specifically the accident, how, when, they, retults etcs.........

I can see you;re servious and I don;t blame up but you have to face it, up front.  He is a climber, OK.  You bee be too ervuous, or too paranoid.....Calm down, if you have done nothing you will be fine.  Perhaps is is fair.   Dind out that he wants, what he needs, what you have to test, abnd whzt you need to test, and come back tomorrow

I am thinking ya might have better luck with your PO if ya just told him the truth ,ya messed up and you have been clean ever sence .

the only  reason I don;t just say taht is b/c the judge has been lenient w/ the "accidental" thing in the past....I don't knwo...trying to be positve...I have built so much for my family..a career, my clean time, it was very hard today...all i wanted was a pill....i made it thru though.....not b/c of my strenght, but b/c I had to, everyone I know (that is in the legal system in this podunk town) says my clean screens (supervised) since the dirty test will help...it;s very hard just not knowing...thanks for all the advice

Details/circumstances for Slide: I am on probation for suspended liscence from a dui i got 3 years ago....just random screens.....I guess they changed to more than a five panel all of a sudden..the positive was a shocker, being that I breezed thru it so many  times....sent it off for confim/GSMS...and of course was confirmed...basically the bottom line is this....gotta go b4 the judge, im pretty sure...when I said signed the "petition to revoke/modify probation", I meant he made ME sign it today and its in the outbox for the judge, as far as I know....he is extremely non-confrontational (kinda funny for a PO  haha) and I think that may be the reason he said he'd talk it over w/ head PO...i dunno maybe U R right  I am just freaking out...bt that's just it I did do it...the accidental part is just what I told him...sorry the post was confusing...was taking like 150mg and went ct, day 24
