HELP PLEASE.... SCARED

Ok i started AF on friday. it was early but then i'm always early or late. The problem i'm having is major clotting. I'm sorry if this is TMI but we're talking 4-5 clots large enough to be felt passing everytime i go to the bathroom. I'm not on any new meds or anything and not on BC. I'm really freaking out here. Never had this much clotting in my life. Should i go to the ER or wait it out?

Consider being put onto a birth control pill. That might help out the bleeding and clots. I had bad clots before I was put onto the pill then now I don't even have a period since I have been on the pill. Seasonal seems to be working very well... Best of luck

***sorry hit the enter button and it just posted on its own...
anyways,

i've had 1 period with large clumps, and i called my nurses line(had military insurance)and she said not to worry, if it was around my period it was just heavy flow...my neighbor gave me her HPT(had 2 in a box, and just found she was pg that week), and it was positive...i went to er, and they dismissed the HPT, till i told them i refused treatment w/o an ultrasound and blood hcg...sure enough, i was having a miscarriage, and it was made apparent i was about 7 weeks pg, and still had my period the month before...
is there any pain?
cramping?
history of this?

i had cramping only when the "clots" would come, and they ended up doing a dnc on me...it wasnt pretty and if i had just listened to the nurse, i'd have had much bigger problems, possibly...

no clue what AF is...however, even if you are clotting that bad, and no matter how close it is to your cycle...and you are on no BC, and are sexually active, then you may want to sneak in an HPT...i know rarely does some 1 take one on their period, but if you are actually having a MC, versus your period, theres a good chance you'll get a...+ result...and if its positive, you need to go to any ER IMMEDIALTELY, and tell them that yes your "on/around" period, however you have had a + hpt result when u took HPT...from personal

I had a similar thing happen and my doctor said it was because I maybe hadn't ovulated that month which causes irregular cyces and heavy bleeding/clotting.  It was scary, though!

today has been the same with the heavy clots bad cramping etc. I know i'm not pregnant as i have not been intimate in months. I am use to having some clots but this whole cycle has been new to me, started out heavier than normal and isn't letting up any at all and today is day 3 for me. I did go to the ER and they just put it off as nothing unusual and told me to take tylenol for the pain. Well tylenol is not helping at all, i'm just wasting time taking them. I'm calling my GYN first thing in the morning. Thanks for all the help ladies.

IF YOUR IN A LOT MORE PAIN THAN YOU ARE USED TO HAVING, I WOULD GO TO THE ER OR DR. IF THE PAIN IS ABOUT THE SAME, TRY NOT TO WORRY. WOMENS BODIES GO THRU SO MANY CHANGES, THIS COULD BE NORMAL FOR YOU.  iF YOUR HURTING, GO, AT LEAST IT WILL EASE YOUR MIND...GOOD LUCK
