flying in a plane

I have been a diabetic for 23 yrs. I had a cataract removed several years ago and developed bleeding in my left eye a couple of months after. I had laser several times and last week the bleeding came back. My doctor said that because of all the laser I should wait and see if my body absorbs the blood. In the meantime, I am flying to HI in 2 1/2 weeks. Should this cause any problems?
