Bulbous Nose connected to Mouth

by Maitey, Sep 23, 2007 08:34PM
I would like to know what resources exist to help a poor girl in Haiti whose nose and mouth together form one bulbous, disfigured protrusion. She is now in her teens.  I saw a TV show some time ago during which surgeons performed cosmetic surgery on children. Is there any benevolent organization that provides similar assistance to others who cannot afford surgery?

There are a number of benevolent plastic surgical organizations that  travel to other countries or bring select patient to the US for care.  I would check with the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons or the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for a list of those organizations you might contact.
