Accidental Transmission

Doctor i have a live query. If i have fluid on my hands from a men and 40 minutes later i will touch my urethra (when my hands fysicaly are dry) and this persone is HIV possitive how much is the possibility to pass the virus on my bloodstream? And why? Thank you about your time

What you described has no risk for HIV.

Alright, I hope you'd understand this, even if you touched your urethra with the live fluid in your hand, you'd be alright because to contract HIV one needs an exposure to substantial amount of infected fluid and the fluid has to enter the open cells in the body through the urethra. Touching the urethra won't let the viral transmission happen, you would have to dip your penis in a container filled with infected semen, the chances are still pretty fair that you'd still not acquire the virus.

Now, touching your urethra after 40 mins when the semen is dry certainly means NO RISK for sure as the virus is already dead because the virus won't exist in the dry condition.

Hope this helps you to get rid of your irrational fears (if that's the case)
