Hot Skin

by Lbeck06, Sep 27, 2007 12:13PM
I am trying to find out why it is my skin feels liek its feverish all the time.  I have asked my doctors and they actually look puzzled.  I am having a few female issues right now and testing is being done to make sure i do not have precancerous or cancerous cells, but this is truly a mystery to me.  I feel hot and if i am laying down when i get up the sheet will feel hot but wheni take my temperature its nromal or low grade at the very most.  it's been going on for sometime, but recently it seems constant.  I am approching 40 could this be an early sign of menapause?

Hi,
I just saw your posting on feeling hot with no temperature.  I am going through that right now with no results.  Just wondering if you ever figured out what is was.
Thanks!

Sounds similar to a hot flash but those come and go. When I have a hot flash, my skin tingles and it feels like heat is radiating off of me like a summer sidewalk. If I'm sitting in a chair or lying in bed, the chair or sheets feel very warm when I move away.

During perimenopause you may experience hot flashes. I certainly did plus the emotional ups and downs and very weird periods.
