as i'm sure you've heard before from other moms, trust your gut and call your pediatrician if you believe something is wrong. i'm sure s/he has heard the question before, so it's better to ask than to sit at home and wonder and worry yourself to death.
if the baby is older, a water stool could mean either a reaction to the breastmilk/formula or a reaction to a solid food you have given recently. have you tried any new foods lately? this could be the cause of what you're describing.
make sure you leave a few days inbetween each new food (once the baby starts eating solids at 6 months, if you haven't already begun to feed them) to isolate any possible allergic reactions that may appear due to a new food. the diapers and the skin are both great ways to see whether a food is agreeing with your baby.
