Ahh Brandi, I'm so sorry!! Maybe you should just not worry about getting your BFP and just enjoy your hubby for a while and then maybe things will surprise you!! They say that stress can sometimes mess with getting pregnant, and you sure have been under some retched stress lately my friend! Take some time to relax!! I hope you feel better, I know how devastating this can be. My thoughts are with you!! I hope you have the time of your life this weekend! I love camping!! Wish I was going too!!

Hugs Patty

Our stories are way too similiar. Here we both go again, sigh. We both mc around the same time, had chemical pgs around the same time, doing the clomid thing, irregular cycles after mc and now SQUIRRELS! Have fun camping, Rocky will love it. We're taking my 7 yr old nephew to all 4 Disney parks this weekend and staying at the Nickelodeon Hotel. Got a sitter for Wee, lol. On the bright side, I know I'm not pg for sure so I can ride all the rides.

You ladies are the greatest.....Patty you are more than welcome to go with if you can make it to Missouri in time...LOL  I've actually never felt more pregnant.....Guess I'm getting a case of the wierdest flu ever with sore bb's and all....LOL  I think that's what I'm going to do just take time and not really worry just enjoy my DH and get to know each other again.  I'm still going to take my prednisone and metformin and see what happens with that and just relax I need it....only thing that is going to kind make this trip not as great is we have to take our female redbone Daisy with us  (here's a pic)

She's on heartworm treatment and has to stay inside for 12 weeks and be kept calm so she gets to go too....but she's a happy camper most of the time.

Sorry, believe me, I know how you feel.  It's amazing how pregnant you can feel and still get a BFN.  Everything I read says it's hormonal imbalances that cause that.  Anyway, enjoy your camping trip and try to ENJOY yourselves together without ttc on the brain.

HUGZ!!

Oh I'm sorry!! I was hoping you would get your bfp. Well have a good time camping, that sounds great!

Hi Brandi!  Maybe a camping trip is just what you need.  I wish I were going camping but dh and I aren't going until Nov.  I wish so much that this was your month but it's ok because it's going to happen.  Look at me, 3 early m/c and now a strong pregnancy at 11wks.  I would be lying if I told you that I'm relaxed and confident but you know when you've experienced recurrent m/c you become a little bit of a neurotic.  One very good thing about you is you have been pregnant, so it can be done and you are young.  You have the gift of time.  Take care of yourself and enjoy your hubby this weekend.  Good things are coming.  By the way, Redbone Coon hounds are one of my favorite dogs, ever since I read Where the Red Fern Grows, as a kid.  Blessings, Melinda

thanks for the wonderful words and I'm praying you have the happiest and healthiest 9 months possible.  I'm am scared but am thankful that I have such a wonderful caring Dh.......I love Redbones also we raise them we have 2 males and a female and miss Daisy Duke (of course the female) is a Grand Show Champion and we are working on the hunting titles.  And Daisy actually comes from the same blood as the Little Ann dog in the first Where the red fern grows.   She's my baby and I feel like I've let her down also.  We've had her on Heartworm preventative since she was old enough and she still got them.....I'm praying she gets over them ok.  Now look what you did you got me rattling on about my fur-baby....LOL they are all my babys and will be even when I get my human baby.

Watch the old disney movie of where the Red Fern Grows the first one and the dog Little Ann is my Daisy Duke's great great great grand ma..or granddog whatever...... I love all critters and I took it pretty hard when Rocky died but I'm now just devoting all my extra care to miss Daisy and I'm so anxious to get out there and enjoy nature.  DH and I are going to fish all night, go deer hunting in the AM fish the afternoon coon hunt the PM and squirrel hunt the next morning....don't tell Wee or Rocky (RIP)  but we only kill what we eat.....if not we don't harm anything.....

by wanting4#1, Sep 28, 2007 12:15PM
Hey Brandi..

Strange question for you....have you thought about if you would continue to deer hunt if you get your BFP? I used to hunt with my DH (i took last season off...) but I am kinda scared to do it if I get my BFP...I don't know if there would be any 'problem' shooting and stuff....any thoughts?

Lisa

by Brown Eyed Gurl, Sep 28, 2007 12:25PM
Well I think it would depend on how far along I was.....if I wouldn't have lost this last baby I wouldn't have got to go rifle hunting this season DH's orders he had already told me no way Jose!!!  But I would be a lot more careful out in the woods doing any kind of hunting.  When I was pregnant the first time Dh wouldn't let me handle the dogs in the woods afraid they would pull me down.....but I still think I caused my first MC I didn't know I was pregnant and we killed a coon and it didn't come out of the tree so I climbed up and knocked it out and then I jumped out of the tree.  I found out I was pregnant the next day and MC'd a week later.....so I would definatly be more careful in any kind of hunting.

I'm sorry I couldn't get on earlier..I'm so sorry for that stupid BFN.. Man our bodies can play tricks on us, it's really not fair.  You deserve to get away and relax, take your mind off of everything. Enjoy your weekend ok..Next month is yours..just believe it and it will happen.  (((hugs)))

I don't hunt, but I do sometimes go to the shooting range with DH. He told me I can't go if I get pregnant, because of something to do with the lead from the bullets when they discharge?  But I  don't know, that may just be for indoor shooting. Might be worth asking about your doctors about, though.

by Brown Eyed Gurl, Oct 01, 2007 07:22AM
Thanks I'll ask my Dr. about hunting when I become pregnant.
