'Free' Copper Calculation

by fkgg, Sep 28, 2007 02:58PM
I have been diagnosed with a drug-induced Parkinsonism (from Phenergan long-term use).  My dr's have been running tests and have found that my ceruloplasmin was 47mg/dl and serum copper was 2601ug/l....and then 2 weeks later the ceruloplasmin was 30mg/dl and serum copper went up to 3384ug/l.  I would like to know what is the calculation of my 'free' copper?  And also why would my ceruloplasmin be going down while the serum copper is going up??

Thanks.
