ANTI D

by coreena, Sep 30, 2007 07:17PM
I have 2 children aged 7 and 8. I was given Anti D after each birth as they said i was O Rh D neg. 2 yrs ago i became a blood donor and was surprised when they told me i was O Rh positive! i was very concerned and got them to double check it, again confirmed as Rh positive!  now theyve said that i am Rh variant? what ever that means? but i would like to know if there are any contra-indications if a pos woman is given Anti-D by mistake. thanks Coreena
