My son has Tonsils problem

My son K.Eeshwar Kumar has tonsilities and Adenoid(65% size) in his throat.His age is 4 1/2 years, My question is shall we go for the surgery or wait some years,if we go for the surgery will he face any growth problem(Height,weight etc) in his future,He got the tonsils about 4 to 5 times in this year(2007),pls give ur valuable suggetion.
