hiv 16 weeks negative but ohl

by alexsandro, Oct 02, 2007 04:52PM
Hi

I had possible exposure about 8 month ago and I had silly symptoms as extremely fatigue, dizziness, stomach ace and most scary memory loose (About 2 weeks I couldn’t speak properly), groin lymph node swollen and white tongue but no fever.
16 and half weeks later I went to private clinic and got tested. Which it was negative. I thought I was lucky. Then I developed white skin patches on both lateral border of my tongue and white tongue came back (oral thrush) also I start to have pain in my groin area.
This time I went to doctor. He found I had blood in my urine. And ordered 8 different blood tests to be done. I will get the results Friday but I’m extremely worried it might come out late seroconvert. Which ever web site I look at white skin patches is almost sign of OHL. Means %99 HIV.

What is most worrying bit is my partner developed 2 times cold sore and mouth ulcer last 4 month. Also she complains from fatigue and neck ache.

What do you think guys? Do you think is it possible late seroconvert if I developed OHL so early stage of this virus? What else can it be other then HIV?

Cheers

Oral thrush and OHL are two different things.  OHL is a manifestation of advanced stage HIV/AIDS.  I highly doubt that is what you are dealing with.

You are conclusively HIV negative based on your 16 week test.  Move on.
