What is benign foci in marrow?

hello, I have been having back pain for several years. (DDD) After two tramatic falls this past spring directly on my bottom, I started to have a very different type of back pain. It is very sharp and seems to be getting progressively worse. The MRI found that I have spondylolisthesis of L5 upon S1 and L5 Spondylolysis. Mild DDD of T11-T12; Moderate DDD and disc protrusion on the left at L4 and L5 and foraminal encroachement on the right of L5-S1. There are three other findings that are confusing. 1. "Benign foci of fatty signal change in the marrow space" 2. "Multiple 6mm opacities in the region of the gallbladder fossa. " and finally 3. Impression upon the posterolateral aspects of the thecal sac by facet hypertrophy" I am scheduled to see a neuro surgeon on Monday, but am wondering what questions to ask. I have severe pain when lying on my back or sitting. My prefered position is sitting or lying on my left side. DDD and Spondylolysis make no mention of pain on LYING down, but say lying down helps...do I have a bone infection, or worse? What questions should I ask? Any help is so greatly appreciated!
