We have local clinics all over our area that give methodose to people who are on it and trying to get off. Try calling around to your local free health clinics. I'm sure someone can tell you where a free methdose clinic is.
He has been on them for over 5 years and probably will never be off of them.
If I were you I would follow a previous posters advice and find a detox to get yourself off of them. Im sure there are detoxes for people that do not have insurance. They have alot more consequences then you realize.
I would suggest going and speaking to a doctor in regards to coming off it, as the withdrawalsDelirium tremens are nothing to joke around about and can last... and last.. and last... If not worse.
If you are trying to get off the stuff for what ever reason, try and get followed by someone *I realize you dont have a lot of money, but this is very serious stuff*.
It sounds like you have legitimate pain so if it helps with your pain, then I would talk to your doctor about prescribing it to you. But I can also understand that you dont want to be on it.
Best of luck to you.
