by jamie1423, Oct 05, 2007 01:19PM
my period was 8/20 and levels were 35, then a week later 740, and now this week 940. Dosnt look good for me keeping this one.  I go in on Mon. This will be #4 (misscarrage). I had a chromosone test and everthing was fine.  Is there something eles or just bad luck?

I am very sorry to hear about your experiences with pregnancy loss.  Repeat pregnancy loss is emotionally draining, and when no specific cause or treatment is identified, it is very frustrating as well.

The most common genetic tests and considerations for repeat pregnancy loss as described by several genetic and obstetric professional organizations are below. You may want to discuss this with your healthcare provider to verify that the following list was considered for your circumstances, and discuss if there are any other non-genetic tests that make sense for your specific situation.

• Parental chromosome analysis
• Analysis of family history and ethnic background for clues related to repeat pregnancy loss
• Testing for inherited thrombophilia (blood clotting disorders) such as Factor V Leiden, Factor II prothrombin, and others.
