Weird period...

I had unprotected sex around 2 or 3 weeks ago and now I am having a weird period... I am spotting when I wipe...It is red blood sometimes brown with a thick clear mucous...Would this be implantation bleeding or just a strange period...It usually happens 1-3 times a day...it has lasted 6 days but I have had no other symptoms of my monthly...I was irregular before this and i have not had a period since July 27 which was exactly 2 months late...also after I had sex with my husband I have been spotting and it hurts my cervix with deep penetration...What should I do? I don't have medical insurance for like another week and don't want to worry about this...

What does the home pregnancy test say? If negative, I'd be concerned that there might be an infection going on.
