numb toes now

by hobart, Oct 06, 2007 12:16PM
In 2003, my wife had a car accident; she had a severe headache and arm pain; when she first went to the doctor; they ordered mri's, they showed; herniations, and pinched nerves; the headaches, pain never went away; they told her she had radiculopathy; and the headaches were from her neck; she did the pt, shots, pain management; and recently began accupunture which offered some / little relief to the pain.  In any event, her right toe just started going numb; and she started experiencing constipation; so a gastero doctor told her to go to a neurosurgeon. My wife went to the neurosurgeon; he told my wife  her discs were not that bad, and that stand up mri's exagerate situations. her looked at the film; and then he examined my wife; he noted that her left hand reflex between her ring finger and middle finger is not normal; a brain injury response.  then he ordered flexion extension mri.  Can you tell me what is going on my wife has pain in both arms, fingers, headaches, and pain when she turns her head and she is up to long in the neck that travels into the arms, my wife has bulging discs c 4/5, 5/6, , (impinging on thecal sac), 6/7 previously herniatednow just bulging also impinging on the thecal sac, and 7 t1 were bulging but, are no longer.  s1 pinched nerve bulging on viseral fat.

this all began with a 5 car pile up accident.
