How long have you been taking the zoloft ,do you think the shaking could be from that.

i have been taking it for years...when i was addicted to percs years ago and went off ct my whole system was screwed up after and was put on antidepressants since then.  I have been on others but it has been zoloft for about 1 yr now.  I think it is just the wd that is causing the shaking. I am bumping up my protein intake and maybe that will help faster.  starting b100 complex tomorrow morning also.  thanks for your post.

Hi, i cut and pasted the posts into word and printed them, thanks so much.  I thought protein might have helped so i ate 4 fried eggs for lunch today.  I have these protein shakes from my old weight loss place that i mix w/water one pouch = 15 grams of protein.  I am having my second one of the day now.  I will check with my pharmacist what i can take from all the items listed and will get any ones i can.  Thanks so much for all your help, this is fantastic!!!  i feel like i have hope now.

God Bless everyone here...you are getting me through this tough time...thanks for all the support!!

i am also on zoloft. i have been taking it for about 8 yrs now. i started having bad panic attacks when i was married to my 2nd husband (he was the problem!! lol) Anyway, i know some say it take about 2 to 3 weeks to get into your system, but as soon as i took one, that day i started feeling better. unfortunately, now i think it is starting to not work for me. i guess because i've been on it for so long. i just don't want to have to "try" different SSRIs because you never know what one will make you feel like and make you feel more "crazy" in the process. I wish i could just shake my head and everything would go back in place.
good luck,
pill

I have been on several and i know that effexor did not work for me, you also gain alot of weight on it.  I liked Celexa but it made me really tired.  I had a husband once too and he was the problem also,,,how funny is that.  He left, married one of our friends and i lost 50 lbs and was able to get off half my meds for my RA.  It is amazing what stress can do to your body...i am living proof of that.   I hope you can find one that works for you...maybe see if you can try celexa

you know, it sucks going through divorce, but the end result.... we loose weight, stop taking most of our meds, and lo and behold, WE ARE MUCH HAPPIER!!! lol. I think i'm going to ask doc about cymbolta (sp?) have you heard of this one?

Well with my marriage it was blessing for both my son and I.  Ex was never home always had to be somewhere with a drink in his a hand.  I was a glorified taxi driver until the last year when i said to say over night,,,,low and behold out of the same party group that stayed over he found a new bed mate.  My son was 8 at the time and all he could say to me is "did daddy leave because i am fat? but i told it was because mommy was fat" I was taken predinose that puts weight on.  my son turned out to have a thyroid problem and once diagnosed he thinned right out and grew so tall. Brett was excited to have a father now, he had to schedule time to spend with him once he left house.  Everyone is all good but his dad sure missed alot of good time at home...something i think he already regrets.  the funny part of the story is when he got together with her she was always overweight but had lost 50 lbs so was bragging to me about it, wasn't to long after that she gained the 50 back and i lost 50, i am smaller than she is, i like to think of it as poetic justice.

I have heard of cymbolta on commercials but it might not be something we can get in canada,  I asked about ambien for sleeping but we don't have that either,  if you do change please let me know how you are doing on it, i have heard of them not working as well after long periods of time,  wish you all the best with your struggle.

yes, it is sweet revenge even if we don't do anything to cause it. you know the old saying "WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND" i like to add "TEN TIMES WORSE" on the end of that! lol. Sounds like your son is doing great now! my sister has a thyroid problem and takes meds for that. I've had mine check time and time again and mine is good. So i can't blame my weight on that!!!! lol But i have PCOS so that is the reason for the weight, well some of it. lol I don't have children YET but my wonderful hubby now just had a Visectomy reversal so we can have kids. I have two step-kids, two boys, one 15 and the other 13. let me tell ya, i has been a struggle sometimes. especially not being around kids ad all anyway. but i think i'm doing a good job. i always ask hubby if that was the right thing to say or did i do that right. I'm 36 so my window of opportunity is shutting quick!!!! Anyway, i rambled, sorry! have a good day, and if i change meds, i'll let ya know how the do!
thanks,
pill

that is so funny what you said because that i exactly what happened.  in our marriage he called all the shots and now she wears the pants.  Everyone finds it kinda funny that he has to jump when told.  Even my son said it is pathetic to have a wimp for a dad now.  I feel it is kinda revenge for what he put me through.  Thanks for the post is was a good laugh to to think about this again....
Have a great day.
