Gas Inhalation

I inhaled bleach and ammona and I have this terrible cough  like I am gagging and chocking.  I tried taking a treatment with my nebulizer but it is not working.  My head is beginning to hurt and this happen around 10:30-11:00am .  I called poison controll whom told me to turn the shower on and sit in there for 30mins. Well that has not work are there any other suggestions. I can  not afford to go to the hospitals because of no insurance.

If your symptoms do not improve or worsen over the next 4 to 6 hours, especially if you begin to have trouble getting air in and out, that will suggest that you may have a bad chemical bronchitis or pneumonia.  This type of irritant inhalation, like smoke inhalation, in that case, insurance or not, you should have someone take you to the nearest emergency room.
