implantation bleeding

by PENNY23, Oct 07, 2007 04:06AM
Hi, i'm hoping that someone can give me some advice.  I have very irregular periods, sometimes i only have 1 or two per year.  My husband and i have been trying to conceive now for about a year and a half.  Around the end of June i had light bleeding for about 4 weeks and eventually went to the doctor who did swabs and gave me antibiotics for an infection.  I stopped bleeding, however started bleeding lightly again around 21st August.  I tested for pregnancy at this point just incase (negative result) and contacted the doctor who gave me a different course of antibiotics.  Around 2nd September my breasts became very sore.  I tested for pregnancy again 3rd and 7th September and got negative results.  eventually on the 16th of September i got a postitive result.!!!  Have no idea how far on i am or if the bleedig on the 21st was implantation bleeding. Help. px

hmm thats a tough one....i think the best thing is to wait and see at your first scan what gestation they put the baby at, that should give you an idea then of when you actually conceived

hope this helps :)
