complictions after colon surgery

I had colon recal sugery Jan 2004. Since then Iv'e had so many problems. I have spasms that hit without warning and last hours to days. I have to use enemas daily usually with no immediate results. I swell up like I'm 8 months pregnant. I'm isolated in the house because I don't know when bowel will fall out me. I go weeks on a liquid diet, drinking boost to keep my weight at 120. A transit x ray showed a blockage and a straight scope showed an obstruction with 2 loops at my rectum. what caused these problems? I have went through this for over 3 years and I am mentally and physically worn out. They took my insurance away so I am lost as to what to do.

In order to answer your questions will need more information:

1) Why did you have the colorectal surgery? Was this for cancer?
2) Did you receive radiation treatments
3) have you discussed this with your surgeon,
4) Have you had studies of your bowel function?

How old are you, you can apply for State insurance or Medicare if over 65 years
