You need to see an eye MD physician ophthalmologist for a complete eye exam. You may also need a general physicial exam with your personal physician. If you are on female and on birth control pills or hormone shots you will need to discuss this also with them.
So the most common things that would cause this problem are ophthalmic migraine or transient ischemic attacks.
