EEG

by rmharrisscott , Oct 08, 2007 11:45AM
My 8 year old son had 1 (and only 1) seizure and a follow-up EEG.  The EEG said: Abnormal EEg revealing paroxysmal and generalized slow wave activity seen during hyperventilation on an otherwise normal background.  These finding may represent deep midline dysfunction requiring clinical correlation.  Otherwise no focal abnormalities were seen.  Typical stages of I and II sleep patterns were noted.

What does this mean?
