Arachnoid cyst

Had a ommaya reservoir placed to drain arachnoid cyst - left occipital lobe. it is shrinking and have gained vision back. question..can stress cause problems and lead to possible stroke since I have a little plastic shunt in my head that drains the cyst? I have had weird little spasms around the ommaya since I have taken and new job and it is very stressful - physical and mental. Now my left eye twitches. Found the cyst in late 80's - last couple years took off growing. Could not fenestrate it. the ommaya is working great.
