Hi,
There are so many blood pressure pills out there on the market, I can't really recommend of one without knowing other things about you(kidney function etc) and they would require a prescription. The Losartan is not at max dose so your doctor may simply raise it. You should also discuss the possibility of the losartan causing the vertigo, in which case you may need to stop it altogether.
There are many other medications for diabetic neuralgia that may help too. Common ones include Elavil, Neurontin and Cymbalta. Talk to your doctor about those too.
take care.

Thanks for your response."Metycobal"is Mecobalmin and is a preperation of Vitamin B12. I take one tablet a day of 1500mcg. Yeh! Losar is Losatan Potassium,of this I take 50mg tablet one a day. For Vertigo I have been taking for last 6-7 days Stugeron (Cinnarizine)25 mg tabs.thrice a day. With this I have some relief but the problem still exists particularly on getting up from lying position and also a little on lying down. Also on turning head on left side.
Kindly advise another substitute  for BP. I want to try that before going to the doctor.
Thanks once again.            Devendra kaushik

Hi,
I am not familiar with the medication "methycobal" for diabetic neuralgia. Does it have another name?
Your blood pressure is indeed too high. Is it Losartan that you are taking? If so, you should speak with your doctor about increasing it or changing to another medication that can get your blood pressure down.
What other medications have you tried for vertigo? I am afraid there are not very many good ones available. Have you seen a neurologist?
