breast cancer and diet

by duff0015, Oct 09, 2007 10:40AM
Hi there,

I had hormone responsive early stage breast cancer.  I did chemo, rads, and hormone therapy (Tamoxifen and Lupron).  I am pre-menopausal.  Any advice on supplements that may help me?

I do not fully understand your question. What type of supplements do you mean, supplements to help you with pre-menopausal; or to help you feel better and help lower the chances of cancer again? You need to be careful with pre-menopausal supplementation due to the rise of hormones, especially estrogen and the risk of breast cancer again. It is recommended to daily increase foods high in antioxidants (think blue and red fruit and vegetables) to help decrease possible recurrence of cancer. Hope that helps you.
