Muscle twitching in chest/neck

by jamorr, Oct 09, 2007 08:47PM
Name is Jeff, I am 42 and in good health.  Four months ago I had a Disk removal and fusion of C5-C6 vertebra.  My problem is that the last few weeks my muscle in my shoulder chest area has been twitching more and more every day.  It started before I had my surgery and was only a few times a day but today it has been nonstop all day.  It is not painful but it drives me nuts and wakes me up at night.  Will this go away in time or could it be permanent damage of the nerve?  And what can I do to make it better?

Thanks J.M.
