QUESTION

by mc13, Oct 10, 2007 02:29PM
Hello-

I am a 25 year old male in good health...I have not over exposed to the sun, however, I have an issue on my upper back that I am concerned about.  The spot in question is a bluish/ black raised bump on my upper back.  It seems to me to be uniformly oval in shape and about 5-8 mm large and is hard feeling.  I am wondering if this is cause for serious concern.  Please let me know ASAP.

Thanks.

I can't let you know, because I haven't seen it.  The odds are that this is a mole, and of no serious concern.  It could be an unimportant cyst as well.  But pigmented spots can only be diagnosed in person.  Please arrange to have this done.

Thanks.
