pregnant and nervous

by kact, Oct 10, 2007 06:30PM
I am 25 wks pregnant and just one of my breast has been hurting really bad.  I went to the OB and he said it was possibly a clogged milk duct that is infected.  So they are putting me on some medicine.  My question is what is the difference between a clogged milk duct lump and breast cancer lump?  I am just nervous that this milk duct won't go away.

I have a feeling your doctor knows what he's talking about. . however if you smoke you should certainly stop straight away. . 1 for the baby's sake and 2 because if the lump is in fact breast cancer its only going to make things worse! But don't think negative! It is probably just a clogged milk duct and you should keep taking the medicine for as long as your told to x x

Anything new?  I was 8 weeks pregnant when diagnosed with breast cancer.  Not all nope is lost.
