Dont know if you guys remember me but i was the 24 year with high cholesterol 250 and high try's also arouns 400. I have done dieting and exercising for the last few months and just this passed week i was part of the american heart association walk a thon to help raise money for them i raised 100 bucks i know its not much but its going to a great cause.. well i got my results and my cholesterol is still 254. I was also taking 4grams of fish oil a day. I am going to go see my cardio next week and show him the results but i think he might put me on tricor. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding this medicine or anything else? I know this is not bad compared to what other people are posting on this forum. Is it a good idea to get on the medicine... both my parents got high cholesterol later on so i dont know who i got it from so early.

I'm on 20mg of Zocor for the last 4 yrs with no side effects at all.
