Retinal detach. concerns...

by 1princess, Oct 13, 2007 08:18PM
For the past month or so I've had re-occuring migraine headaches. I had a retinal detach.2 1/2 mths ago on my left eye.  My Opth. tried Cryo, & a Lasr type procedure which penetrated bright white flashes of light which pretty much helped. Now about a mth ago I begin having headaches,  temporary discomfort/ache at the side of both or even on just my good eye, even a feeling of a pulling sensation to a nerve of some sort? I s this normal? Could these headaches be related to my detach. recovery?
What are the possible side effects  after a retinal dettachment?

your headaches are unlikely to be related to your retinal detachment procedure so you should consult with your general medical doctor as well as your eye md.
