i have 6 children. 2 of them have horrible reflux. they were also the only times my labor was induced. i think pitocin and reflux are linked--do you?
oh, and they never told me the official fda side effects of pitocin, i thought id share
The following adverse reactions have been reported in the fetus or neonate:
Due to induced uterine motility:
Bradycardia
Premature ventricular contractions and other arrhythmias
Permanent CNS (central nervous system) or brain damage
Fetal death
Neonatal seizures have been reported with the use of Pitocin.
Low Apgar scores at five minutes
Neonatal jaundice
Neonatal retinal hemorrhage

Interesting. I was induced and my daughter suffered from Reflux during her first 3 months. I've never even thought about it. Thanks for the posting.
