Chronic Cough

by ang256, Oct 16, 2007 12:56PM
I have had an ongoing cough for 2 months, Doctor rules out GERD/Bronchitis, Post nasal drip, and Reactive airway disease.
I am taking Prednisone 40mg, per day
Albuterol Inhaler 90mcg w/ aerochamber when needed, about 2 puffs every hour
Albuterol Inhalation 2.5 mg w/ nebulizer every 3 hours, even at night
Flovent 2 puffs in the morning and 2 in the evening w/ aerochamber
Seravant 50 mcg one blister in the morning and one blister in the evening.
Chest x-rays are clear.
Spirometry is consistenly at 340
The meds only help 4 about 20 minutes after i take each one, they only help reduce the cough, the cough does not go away....
Thanks for any help...
