migraine/ eye problem

by kristenpowell, Oct 17, 2007 11:43AM
I've had migraines off and on for a few years, but recent they've gotten more fequent, lasting up to weeks. when they occur, i have blindness in my left eye, which comes back when the pain eases off. also when I read, the migraines start and the same thing happens with that. I went to the doc and he doesn't have any idea in what's causing it.
any advice is appreciated

1. Use the search feature on this page to search eye migrains and ophthalmic migraines and read about the condition.

2. See and Eye MD physician ophthalmologist for a comprehensive eye exam including a visual field.

3. See a neurologist for treatment and to determine if more tests such as MRI are needed.
